The Wines

The first wine to be available was the Quinta da Penseira, 2001 harvest, winner of the Silver Medal of the “XL Contest for the Best Wine at Production”. This contest was organized by the Comissão Vitivinícola do Dão and there was no gold medal nor was any wine denominated the “Best Wine of the Dão” due to the difficult year all producers faced.
